Why is Science Important?

Every student at some point in their educational experience asks them selves or even maybe a teacher the age old question..."Why are we doing this?" This is a great question to be asked and is one that every teacher should be able to answer without hesitation. It is also a question that students should be able to answer as well, so you are going to answer it and a few others.
